Ashlee is Mama of one darling boy. A 28 week early bird, now 1 and some change, doing beautifully. She lives near Chicago with her sweetheart husband and French Bulldog. She's a thinker not afraid to get her silly on. Babywearer, veggie queen, photography nut. Before the domestic days Ashlee was pursuing a future in developmental psychology but has happily shifted gears in favor of staying at home and couldn't imagine doing anything else. In her free time (ha!) you can find her whipping up babyslings, holding down the fort at Mama Speaks and spotlighting as an Itsy Bitsy Yoga Instructor.

Money, Money

Xavier knows a thing or two about money. He's been obsessed, erm- intrigued, by coins for quite some time (and no he doesn't try to eat them!). He's moved onto noticing that some coins are different than others, learning their names and is a pro at tucking his cash in his piggy bank.

We haven't, however, mastered just where money comes from. That old adage that money grows on trees? Nope. Apparently it comes from Papa's pants. This morning Xavier drug a pair of David's jeans into the office where we sitting, excitedly yelling, "MONEY!" And what do you know, he came across a pocket full of change.

He is so cute. I can picture him and it just makes me smile.

If you could spare an old sling that would be fantastic. OR if you want to show me how to make one i could bring over fabric and my sewing machine and we could do it together. I am babysitting m-th this week for sure. Love Bea top

Wow X, you have more money than me! But it sounds like I'm not looking in the right places. Invest wisely, you might be able to retire before you hit 5. top

In our house it's Dad's hat that has the money. (when he comes home he turns his hat upside down and puts his wallet, keys, spare change in it) Hunter will still find a reason to "need" a quarter. top
